Preventative Care

Taking your pet to the emergency veterinarian in Los Angeles CA on a regular basis will help improve their stress levels around going to the vet and can also catch chronic conditions and serious illnesses in their early stages. This can save on medical costs and even prevent the need for surgery, as these conditions are often treated less invasively if they are caught in their early stages.

Preventative care services include educating clients about the wellness needs of their pets, diagnosing diseases and injuries as well as prescribing medication. If you are worried about the cost of these services, Animal Health Care Center works with veterinary treatment financing solutions like CareCredit to help spread the costs out over time.

Surgery

We offer orthopedic surgeries such as tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), knee ligament repair (extracapsular/lateral suture) and femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHNO or FHO). Soft tissue surgery includes abdominal exploratory procedures, foreign body removal, hernia repairs, sigmoidoscopy, perineal urethrostomy, total ear canal ablation (TECA) and more. All of our surgical patients receive pain management medication post-surgery to ensure comfort and quick recovery.
